When my daughter came to visit, we decided to set up a still life as inspiration for a painting. We selected Mom's milk glass vase, a lemon from the kitchen, and two very small Roma tomatos and two onions that were harvested late in the season from my garden. My mom was a quilter so the fabric is a batik. I enjoyed all the reflected color play between the items. I will paint more still lifes as spirit moves me.
